Mercosur Seeks To Eliminate Inter-Trade Restrictions

News: Mercosur's Common Market Council has agreed to implement an action plan to consider the elimination of barriers such as tariffs and customs duties that impede trade among the bloc's member countries. Both Uruguay and Paraguay had urged the bloc to agree to comply with article 1 of the Mercosur 1991 founding charter, which includes the elimination of all inter-trade restrictions (MercoPress).
